About Us
P. A. Polytechnic College (PAPTC) is located on the Pollachi to Tirupur high-way just 3kms from pollachi town with the Pleasant and Natural Bio-diversity of Western Ghats in the reach of about 40 minutes drive from Coimbatore airport or railway station and one hour from Tirupur. Our polytechnic college was established in the year 2006 by Dr. P. APPUKUTTY M.E, FIE, FIV founder of this college and also the chairman of ARUL JOTHI CHARITABLE Trust with the objective - “LEARN-WORK-SUCCEED”. P.A Polytechnic college, a pioneer institute in the field of technical education is a self financed, approved by AICTE- New Delhi & Affiliated to Directorate of Technical Education, Tamilnadu (DOTE).
PAPTC is promoted by the Aruljothi Charitable Trust under the dynamic chair of an eminent teacher and founder Chairman of the Trust Dr. P. Apukutty who has served as Principal of Nachimuthu Polytechnic College Pollachi for almost a decade. He was awarded National Best Teacher Award for his outstanding work done in Technical education by Indian Society for Technical Education. Also, he was given a State Award as a Best Teacher in Technical Education by Indian Society for Technical Education.
PAPTC provides Engineering Education for Life. The beautiful and spacious buildings are designed to have well planned academic block, computer centres, lecture halls, library, laboratories, conference hall, hostel and students' common rooms. The campus also has a clinic to attend to the general health of the students. Transport facilities are provided by the management. Facilities ensure that all students gain optimal advantage in terms of advanced technical knowledge and skills. All education programs offered by the institute have been designed to offer distinct aspects of intellectual growth and development.
