The establishment of RVS College of Nursing was the fulfilment of a long cherished dream of providing facilities for higher education to the rural people of the Coimbatore district and surrounding regions. The main objective is to develop a college with a distinct identity and character, where education and training are imparted at global level. Every facility is provided in the campus to create an environment fully conducive to realizing this objective.

The RVS College of Nursing, Kannampalayam was established in the year 2008 by the RVS Medical Trust, imparting teaching and training to produce qualified Nurses to serve the mankind. The college is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi and The Tamilnadu Nurses and Midwives Council, Chennai. The college is affiliated to The Tamilnadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai. It is the prestigious and one of the Outstanding ISO certified institute in the state of Tamilnadu.
