  Booked 2 Palace rooms for 4 of us on a road trip. Located bit interiorly, so had to trust the Google map to take us there. Once we reached, while getting into the reception we were in for a surprise. Apparently this "Ambalam" palace resort has a pretend temple inside the main building and we have to remove our shoes to enter the building. The reception and the rooms we booked were in the main building. Moreover the Palace rooms do not allow non-vegetarian food either. We expressed our displeasure to the staff and they changed our rooms to a duplex room without any extra charges (after some negotiations of course). The duplex rooms are separate buildings, so do not come under "Temple" etiquettes. Except for this, it was a pleasnt experience. We got secure and covered parking space for our motorcycles. Rooms were large and clean. Staff really courteous. We could also use the pool facility, though felt there was too much chlorine in it. Food from the kitchen was tasty. So just keep in mind about the "temple" part when selecting the rooms.

  Simple and nice property for a short stay. Stayed at duplex room with family, was spacious enough to accommodate a family of 4 with extra bed! Food and staff service is good, just need to keep a plumber/electrician on standby to fix small issues. Swimming pool is clean, but try and reduce chlorine content! Will definitely recommend for a short stay.

  Poor maintainance of kids play area. Low safety standards. There is a water flowing pit near to merry go round my son has accidentally fallen and got injured. Add on to that incident recently they cut down pappaya tree, those edges were sharp inside that pit. Play equipments not cleaned properly. I can see spider nets all over. I didn't make any complaints to the reception incharge because I don't think he understands the situation be supportive.

  Peaceful and a pleasant place to stay! We went as a grp of 13 ppl and all the staffs were helpful! Had a good home food! A great place for Photoshoots! Suggestion: Add some more indoor and outdoor activities!

  Food was the best for the money I paid. Villas needs to be completely demolished and rebuilt. Rooms are good. Change all the door mats. Provide more lights across all the property.

  Had 2 nights stay with my family which is really worth for the money we spent. Initially had a small hesitation to stay there, however booked the room but after stay different feeling or perspective about this resort. Really good service from both management and staffs working there. Food is awesome and impressed with their tasty items served, Ambience also good and it has amenities that, swimming pool, Gym and Table tennis court. I had great time on pool with my kid, he enjoyed a lot. I cant say its a property without any issues, yes there were minor issues we faced which are immediately taken care by the staff members in the resort. Giving 5 stars for their service, ambience and the food. Muthukumaran keep up the good work.! Vivek is user friendly.! Just remember one thing, its not Hotel and its a resort where you can peacefully spend time with your family and friends.

  Its located adjacent to the river amongst plenty of trees. Surroundings are serene, weather pleasant most of the year. Rooms are ok. They could have hired a good Architect in designing. Staffs were cordial. Food is made to order only.

  Paid around Rs. 3200 for a budget non AC room for 2 people. The room was spacious and neat. There were few places to roam around. food given was good. I feel I paid little extra for the room but it is ok

  The resort is wonderful and provides an awesome experience. The resort has a swimming pool, Gym and Conference rooms, Palace rooms and Villa accomodations. It's very spacious for kids to move around. The best thing about the resort is that it is present just on the river bank and we have access to the river. Food was ok and services can be improved. Although there is room for improvement, It's the best place to stay and enjoy in budget.

  What a beautiful place to stay. We stayed in the palace rooms inside the gorgeous palace and it was a fantastic experience. Decent and clean rooms. It has a path to the river and you can spend time with family there. Food service was also good but you would have to place the food orders in advance, it is only made to order. Spacious place for the kids to run around and have fun. Also has pretty decent parking space. Overall, would highly recommend the place for experiencing Pollachi.
