Chairman’s Message
They say a humble beginning goes a long way...
I ventured into the healthcare business by taking over a small medical shop in Trichy. It had a reputation of over 60-years of being a trustworthy and very reliable pharmacy for sourcing medicines and medical supplies. From that very day in 1999 to this day, each foot I have put forward and each path I chose to tread have been with the support, courage and motivation of my team.
Today, our family is growing bigger and stronger. Working across India are over 600 ophthalmologists and a 6000+ CARE team, each trained to give exemplary care to every patient, without discrimination.
I am happy to see that Vasan Eye Care is today synonymous with world-class eye care and expertise.
We constantly strive to excel and are committed to serve every individual who walks through the doors of Vasan Centres spread across India.
Our Vision

I went for my Dad's eye surgery to bring back vision. Lot of other doctors said the truth that it's impossible. But the doctors in vasan eye care lied and gave false promise to loot money. They said vision will come slowly after the surgery but we are waiting since 9+years! Goto this hospital if you want to spend your money uselessly.

My treatment of retina was done in seconds. . The doctor as well as the staff handled my case very professionally. They gave me time to decide on the intervention and guided me.Very helpful staff at RSPuram an Thudiyalur. They also have a free check up for the person accompanying the patient. Recom all elderly people to regularly do a check up

Treatment was quite okie before years...i use to visit this hospital regularly for my eye check up from my childhood days and use to order lens and glasses from them....lens which i got for the last two times was a complete mess...i ended up with an eye infection later...Im using lens for many years and im well practised to it but last time when i used it was horrible...my eyes use to turn red and lens gets hard texture once i place them on my eyes...first they focused on me complaining that i must have used them for long time, there must be some issue with my eyes bla bla...then doctor tested my eyes and confirmed that there is no such problem with me and he asked their staffs to check the whole batch of lens they have purchased and they requested me to write a complaint letter against the company...they gave me a replacement after some week saying that they have raised complaint on that particular company...but still im not happy with the replacement which i got(faced same issues and i disposed them).doctors always use to insist me on lasik and other costly treatments and their optical is much worser.. when i took my mom to get reading glasses for her they charged us around 40k for frame alone and for lens around 80k something...we got schkd on their price and when we demanded for some lower price (below 10-5k) they treated us as if they belong to some ambani and bill gates family...overall they target only on money and treatment is very poor...some staffs are good they understand your side but still they are taught to focus on money...

Worst, I just went for a dust allergy. Doctor started saying, swelling was due to sugar..or we may need to operate blah blah.. Then he removed the dust, he gave 2 eye drops, and tablets. I bought only one eye drops which costed me 160rs. Finally they didn't even gave the prescription or the pharmacy bill. Their Target is to bill the amount per person of minimum 500Rs to 700Rs. Worst hospital.

Good doctors and cute staffs. Not so crowded as we could see in Aravind hospital. Once I had to visit here for a eye medical certificate and they checked me like a patient. But they grabbed my money by giving a OTP card, till today I haven't went back. Back to review, it's good for eye related issues if you could spend few extra bucks. My personal suggestion is never buy spectacles here as it seems costly.
