About Us
Tamilnadu College of Engineering was sponsored by Tamilnadu Technical Education Foundation (Regd.) established in the year 1984. The Institution was founded by eminent philanthropists Late Lion T.N. Palanisamy B.A., MJF and Dr.P.V. Ravi Ph.D., who are pioneering educators having unmatched rich experience in the field of education with belief that the continuous perusal of knowledge is the sole path to success.
The primary focus of the Institution is to expose the young minds to the world of technology, instilling in them confidence and fortitude to face new challenges enabling them to shine in their chosen fields.
The College is recognized by the Government of Tamilnadu, approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and affiliated to Anna University. The National Board of Accreditation (NBA), AICTE, New Delhi previously accredited the courses B.E (Computer Science Engineering), B.E (Mechanical Engineering ), B.E (Civil Engineering) and B.E (Electronics and Communication Engineering), M.E (Computer Science Engineering), M.E (Structural Engineering).

Very excellent college for engineering studies. i had a incomparable experience about civil engineering. i got lot of practical knowledges.All lab facilities are available with modernized equipments.knowledgable and well experienced faculty membersare available for the students.Every year industrial visit are permitted for students to gain field skills.students will leave the college with flying colours.

Good choice if want to waste your time . Inexperienced staffs, no proper management, no cultural activities, staffs only stay for one year max and then leave. College hostel and mess standards are very pathetic. College canteen also is a blunder. No proper thought given in administration. Overall join this place if you want to get a degree for namesake.

This is not a government aided college. The quality of education is average. But if are a studious guy and want to study in a college where there is zero noise and a peaceful environment, then this is the place. The hostel food is not even up to the mark. Cleanliness must be improved. Few of the lecturers don’t even help at need. But the staffs are very good. Overall its up to you. Where ever you study, it is your responsibility not theirs to make you an educated fellow.

Tamil Nadu College of Engineering also known as TCE, which is recognised as First self financing Engineering College in Tamil Nadu, is situated near Chenniyandavar Kovil at Karumathampatti, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. The college was established in 1984. The college is affiliated to Anna University. This college is managed by the Tamil Nadu Technical Education Foundation.Campus greenery is the attraction there..Hostel is average with average food. placement is poor.Noise free Environment for perfect studies.Lot of facilities for students available.

U can choose this college if you want just a degree. Spacy buildings with lots of trees. But they will not maintain it. Once u go to students center for any queries, they will not at all listen to you. they will extract as much as they can during 1st yr, later on they will collect fee as per norms. Placements 0. Poor infrastructure. They will provide very low quality food and snacks in the hostel but u will be paying huge amount.

An admirable environment with a fantastic way of coaching and making the students a well good studies makes our college a lovable place , No words for all our staffs as they go friendly all along 4 years and make us motivating in life.And finally TCE is the one and only place to live in ...

Waste of money and time! Don't even think of this college because even if you get 95% you won't get any placements not even a server job in a hotel.There is not even a single educated staff and also you won't even get pure drinking water inside the campus and they will be sucking your money like a vampire!!!!! Moreover there will be no one in the college to listen your problems.
