Our History The business was established by George Macarthur in 1992 after he moved to Sydney from a country farm. One day while cleaning his grandmother’s gutters, her neighbours enquired if he could do the same job for them and they would pay him for it. Opportunity knocked and George started the business cleaning the gutters of houses and small unit blocks. After 18 months of hard honest work and a growing reputation for excellent service, ABC Gutter Cleaning was awarded its first major contract to clean the gutters of 52 schools. Since then the business has grown and there are now teams spread throughout Sydney servicing commercial, strata and residential customers. To date, we have cleaned the gutters of more than 15,500 schools, 2,300 retirement villages and countless other strata buildings, warehouses, business, councils, universities, hospitals, fire and ambulance stations and residential homes. We also now inspect roof anchor point systems and our service is so popular our height safety equipment teams have inspected over 7,600 buildings in the last 5 years George still manages the company and you will often see him on site using his experience to supervise the company’s daily activities. Our Specialised Equipment Our equipment is built to get even the tiniest of debris. We are not like the others that just remove the larger debris – we get it ALL. Leaf blowers can push the leaves and twigs into your roof cavity – causing a potential fire hazard and creating an inviting nesting area for vermin. Not to mention a hell of a mess in your yard. We Will Report Any Roof Issues While on your roof, we inspect it for cracked or dislodged tiles. Anything we find is included in our Roof and Gutter Inspection Report so you can arrange any suggested repairs. Preventative Maintenance Program Ongoing maintenance is important. We offer our VIP Preventative Maintenance Program. This is tailored to the needs of your property.
