It was a great experience to visit Amritsar. We have taken golden temple tour and food tour with Prarit. It was amazing. I recommend walk and explore to everyone.

I have visited Golden Temple before also but decided to take a guide this time. I must say it's a complete different experience. My guide Prarit explained me so well about the city, religion and culture of the place. Must recommended.

You must do this!!!! The highlight of our time in Amritsar! The best food tour with Prarit!!! We had one day in Amritsar and decided we wanted to do a food tour that evening. I called various companies and none could accommodate until Prarit from Walk and Explore called back and asked what time suited us to meet! We were delighted. We met about an hour later and started the tour. We went all around Amritsar to various street food markets. Prarit knew all the best spots and made sure to bring us to the hygienic places to avoid getting sick (as we are tourists). He was knowledgeable, friendly, funny and a great foodie! He customized the tour for us based on what we had already eaten. All the food, and tuk tuks were included in the price and we spent 3 hours on the tour. Absolutely worth every penny - we left completely full, fat and happy. If you want to do one thing in Amritsar this is absolutely it!!!!

We enjoyed the most wonderful walking tour of Amritsar, the Golden Temple and going to the Wagah Border with our kind and knowledgeable guide Amrit. The tour was organised on the day and we were very grateful we could be accommodated at such short notice and received such incredible service. We learnt so much about Sikhism - the history, religion, customs and culture, and had an amazing time. Highlights were volunteering in the Golden Temple kitchen rolling chapatis with hundreds of others, and going in to the Golden Temple itself. The Wagah Border visit was entertaining and again we learnt a lot about the history of the region. We got swept up in the ladies dance party at the border which was lots of fun. We also loved finishing the day with the street food sweets. Highly recommend this tour

We had food tour in Amritsar with Prarit. It was amazing. Do try soya champ and jalebi in Amritsar. Guide was very kind and humble and take us to best place to eat.

Prerit is an amazing guide in Amritsar. His knowledge about the city is superb. He was with our group of about 50 and managed everything superbly. He is ever smiling and always helpful. I would strongly recommend him.
